Gujarat’s Republic Day tableau, titled “From Anartpur to Ektanagar – A Wonderful Confluence of Heritage and Development,” emerged victorious in the Popular Choice category at the 76th Republic Day National Parade in New Delhi.
According to the Gujarat government, this marks a hat-trick victory, as the state’s tableau has secured the top spot for the third consecutive year in the Popular Choice category.
CM Bhupendra Patel Celebrates the Achievement
Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel expressed his gratitude to the people of Gujarat for their overwhelming support, emphasizing that the state is successfully following Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of “Virasat Bhi, Vikas Bhi” (Heritage and Development Together).
“Gujarat continues to lead the way in blending cultural heritage with modern progress, a testament to the state’s commitment to holistic development,” stated CM Patel.
Gujarat’s Tableau Highlights: A Fusion of Heritage and Progress
Among 31 tableaux from various states and government departments, Gujarat’s entry, presented by the Information Department, showcased the state’s rich heritage alongside its modern development milestones.

- 12th-century Kirti Toran (Vadnagar), representing the Solanki era
- Statue of Unity (Sardar Patel), the world’s tallest statue at 182 meters
- C-295 aircraft production unit
- Semiconductor chip manufacturing initiatives
- Landmark Atal Bridge
Additionally, the tableau featured a vibrant ‘Maniyaro’ raas dance performance, blending traditional and modern Duha music, which secured third place in the cultural program competition among participating tableau artists.
