August 2, 2025: The highly anticipated launch of Grand Theft Auto VI (GTA 6) may be facing another delay, with industry sources hinting that the game’s release has been pushed from its initial rumored May 2026 slot to a new potential date in September 2026.

While Rockstar Games has yet to confirm an official release date or pricing, leaked reports suggest that the game will carry a hefty price tag in India. The Standard Edition is rumored to cost around Rs 5,999, the Deluxe Edition is expected to be priced near Rs 7,299, and the Collector’s Edition could potentially exceed the ₹10,000 mark.

The game is set to return to the iconic Vice City, inspired by Miami, with its environment stretching to include rural areas reminiscent of the Florida Everglades. Rockstar has also confirmed the return of the multiple protagonist format, last seen in GTA V. This time, players will navigate the story through the eyes of two main characters, Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos, a couple inspired by the notorious criminals Bonnie and Clyde. Lucia will make history as the first modern-era female protagonist in the series.
