The Odisha government has announced a new uniform colour code for all government schools, including PM SHRI schools, as per an official statement. The Odisha School Education Programme Authority (OSEPA) has directed all Collectors-cum-Chairman to adopt this new colour code for government buildings.
Under the previous BJD-led government, all government schools in the state were painted green, including official buildings. However, after the new government took charge, the colour of official buildings was changed to light orange frost with an orange-tan border. Additionally, the BJP government altered the design and colour of school uniforms for classes IX and X, transitioning from green to light brown and maroon a few months after assuming power.
