Narain’s New Role as Leader

Sundar Pichai, the CEO of Google, also gave Narain a big welcome and stressed how important he is to the Cloud division’s plan.
Pichai posted on LinkedIn, “I’m excited that Karthik Narain is joining Google Cloud as its Chief Product and Business Officer, a key leader on Thomas Kurian’s great team.” Karthik will work directly with our Cloud clients as they use AI to change the way they do business. Narain’s Plan for Google Cloud
Narain said he was excited to make the change after a long career in consulting in response to the welcome.
Narain stated, “After more than 25 years in the tech consulting industry, I am excited to share the next chapter of my career—I am joining @GoogleCloud as its first Chief Product & Business Officer.” He went on to say that the job is a great chance for him to use his consulting experience with Google’s core strengths: “to combine my knowledge of engineering and product strategy, as well as my experience with enterprise systems and business processes, with Google’s world-class foundational technologies and cutting-edge AI innovation to drive profound digital transformation.”

Karthik Narain has a lot of experience in enterprise technologies that he brings to Google Cloud:
Before taking the job at Google, Narain was the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Accenture. Before that, he was the Group Executive for Technology at Accenture.
Before to Accenture, he worked at HCLTech as the Vice President and Vertical Head for High Tech, Software & Platforms, and Automotive from 2005 to 2015.
Narain has a Master’s degree in Computer Systems and Business from Bharathidasan University in Tiruchirappalli.
