Golden Globes 2025: Complete List Of Winners

The 2025 Golden Globe Awards, held on January 5 (early January 6 in India), honored the best in film and television, celebrating standout performances and major achievements across 27 categories. Some of the night’s big winners included Emilia Perez, The Brutalist, Shogun, Hack, and Baby Reindeer, with notable performances from Zoe Saldana, Fernanda Torres, Adrien Brody, Kieran Culkin, Jean Smart, and Jeremy Allen White.

Emilia Perez took home two major awards in the film categories, winning Best Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy and Best Non-English Language Film. Zoe Saldana won Best Supporting Actress for her role, while Emilia Perez’s track “El Mal” claimed the award for Best Original Song. Meanwhile, The Brutalist was named Best Motion Picture – Drama, with Brady Corbet awarded Best Director and Adrien Brody recognized as Best Actor in a Drama.

On the animated front, Flow won Best Motion Picture – Animated, while Wicked received the Cinematic and Box Office Achievement award.

In television, Shogun dominated the Drama Series category, with stars Anna Sawai, Hiroyuki Sanada, and Tadanobu Asano winning individual acting awards. Hack was named Best TV Series – Musical or Comedy, with Jean Smart receiving the Best Performance by a Female Actor in a TV Series – Musical or Comedy.

Baby Reindeer was awarded Best Limited Series, Anthology Series, or Motion Picture Made for Television, with Jessica Gunning winning Best Performance by a Female Actor in this category. Ali Wong also took home an award for Best Stand-Up Performance on Television for her special Ali Wong: Single Lady.

Other notable acting honors included Fernanda Torres, who won Best Female Actor in a Motion Picture – Drama for I’m Still Here, and Sebastian Stan, who earned Best Male Actor in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy for A Different Man.

On the TV side, Anna Sawai and Hiroyuki Sanada received acting awards for their roles in Shogun, while Jean Smart and Jeremy Allen White won Best Female and Male Actors in a TV Series – Musical or Comedy, respectively. Jodie Foster and Colin Farrell were honored in the limited series categories for True Detective: Night Country and The Penguin, respectively.

The ceremony also saw Viola Davis being awarded the prestigious Cecil B. DeMille Award, while Ted Danson was presented with the Carol Burnett Award during a special Golden Gala event.

The awards show, hosted by Nikki Glaser, marked the second year under the revamped Hollywood Foreign Press Association, now composed of a more diverse group of voters from around the world.
