New Delhi [India], December 31: Bollywood actress Genelia Deshmukh, known for her active social media presence, took to her platforms to wish her fans a Happy New Year and share her gratitude for 2024. The Jaane Tu… Ya Jaane Na star, who regularly gives her followers a glimpse into her personal and professional life, posted a picture of herself in a chic blue jumpsuit. Alongside the photo, she wrote, “Last day of 2024 and I feel like the year just flew by… Time for 2025. With absolute gratitude to the last year and positive energy for the new one. 2025, here we come!”
Genelia isn’t the only one sharing her excitement for the upcoming year. Other Bollywood stars have also reflected on their memorable moments from 2024 and expressed optimism for 2025. Ananya Panday, on Monday, posted a recap video on Instagram showcasing highlights from her year. The video featured clips from her successful projects Call Me Bae and CTRL, along with footage from her ramp walk at late fashion designer Rohit Bal’s final show.
“WHAT A YEAR! Couldn’t possibly be more grateful for all the opportunities, the people, the memories, and the love. Heading into 2025, recharged with positivity and good vibes. Let’s goooooooo,” Ananya captioned the post.
2024 proved to be a landmark year for Ananya, with her web series Call Me Bae and her OTT film CTRL receiving significant praise and garnering attention from audiences. Her mother, Bhavana Pandey, recently spoke about Ananya’s success, expressing gratitude for the audience’s appreciation of her daughter’s hard work. Bhavana emphasized how Ananya had transitioned from being perceived as a “nepo kid” to an actress capable of bringing depth and authenticity to her roles.
“I’m very grateful. I know she’s worked hard, as does everyone in this industry. But the key is to keep your head down, work hard, accept the necessary criticism, and improve. The rest is just noise,” Bhavana said in an interview.
In 2025, Ananya will be seen in a new romantic drama titled Chand Mera Dil, where she will share screen space with actor Lakshya.
