New Delhi [India]: Bollywood actress Genelia Deshmukh, known for her active presence on social media, took to Instagram to wish her fans a Happy New Year and reflect on the passing year. Sharing a picture of herself in a blue jumpsuit, the Jaane Tu… Ya Jaane Na star expressed gratitude for 2024 and enthusiasm for 2025.
“Last day of 2024 and I feel like the year just went by…time for 2025. With absolute gratitude to the last year and a positive energy to the new one. 2025 here we come,” she captioned the post.
Like Genelia, many other Bollywood celebrities also shared their excitement for the upcoming year. On Monday, actress Ananya Pandey posted a recap video on Instagram, showcasing some of her memorable moments from 2024.
The video highlights scenes from her successful projects Call Me Bae and CTRL, as well as clips from her ramp walk for the late fashion designer Rohit Bal’s final show. “WHAT A YEAR couldn’t possibly be more grateful for all the opportunities and the people and the memories and the love going into 2025 recharged with all the positivity and good vibes let’s goooooooo,” Ananya wrote alongside the video.
2024 was a breakthrough year for Ananya, with her web series Call Me Bae and the OTT film CTRL both performing well and earning audience appreciation.
Ananya’s mother, Bhavana Pandey, recently spoke to ANI about her daughter’s newfound success. Expressing pride, Bhavana shared her thoughts on Ananya’s rise from being viewed as a “nepo” kid to an actor praised for her performances.
“(I am) very grateful. I know she’s worked hard and everyone does. She’s worked hard. But the idea is to put your head down and work hard and take the important, necessary criticism in your stride and work even harder. And the rest is noise,” Bhavana said.
Looking ahead, Ananya will star in the upcoming romantic drama Chand Mera Dil, where she will share the screen with Lakshya.
