Online, there are new claims about the behavior of 20-year-old singer D4vd, even if police are still looking into the strange death of Celeste Rivas. D4vd’s Tesla had the body of the young girl within it, and it was already starting to decompose. This was only one day after what would have been her 15th birthday. Rivas had been gone since 2024.
New Allegations of Unprofessional Communications
Screenshots are floating around on social media and Reddit that say the singer had inappropriate talks with another youngster in 2023. This adds a new degree of controversy to the entire problem.
A segment of the said text conversation that was posted on Reddit last month talks about how hard it is to be in a secret relationship: “I think long-distance relationships can work if the conditions are right, like if you can travel with me, but you’re still in school.” Also, I don’t enjoy keeping secrets from people. I would want to be in a public relationship with someone, but the way things are going, we have to keep it a secret or something.

There hasn’t been any proof that these text messages are real, but the claims have spread extensively. On September 19, a user named ENGLEEZY posted screenshots on X (formerly Twitter) saying they were close to the singer and that a “new girl d4vd had ‘dated’ in 2023 while she was underage” had contacted them and sent them multiple screenshots of everything that happened between them. Reports say that this message has since been taken down, though.

Even though there has been a lot of public speculation and D4vd’s mother recently got some of his real estate just a few days after Celeste Rivas’ body was found, the singer has never been officially named a suspect in the case.
The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) has made it clear that the inquiry is still in its early stages because they haven’t figured out what killed the person yet. The authorities are not treating this as a murder just now.
The LAPD told Complex that there isn’t enough evidence to name any suspects right now. They also said that Rivas’ death might not be considered a murder in the end.
