Bollywood power couple Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal are celebrating their fourth wedding anniversary today, December 9, 2025. The anniversary is particularly special as it is their first as parents, following the birth of their baby boy last month on November 7.
The duo tied the knot in a much-talked-about, intimate ceremony at the Six Senses Resort, Fort Barwara in Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan, on this day in 2021.
Fun Wedding Memory: The “Big Fight” Over Shoes
Reflecting on their wedding day, Katrina Kaif previously shared a hilarious anecdote about the traditional ‘joota chupai’ (shoe-hiding) ritual during an appearance on The Kapil Sharma Show in 2022.
- The Chaos: Katrina revealed the playful tradition quickly turned into a major scuffle between her sisters (including Isabelle Kaif) and Vicky’s friends.”Woh matlab bohot badi ladai hui uss par. Bohot badi,” she recalled. “I turned and saw what was happening. It was Isabelle and I think Vicky’s 2-3 friends. Aise matlab (putting both hands out and tugging), jooto ko aise aise… Maine bola yeh kya hai (backing off).”
- The Winner: When asked who eventually won the tug-of-war for the shoes, Katrina admitted she was too wrapped up in the moment to notice: “Actually maine poocha nahi. Main khud ki shaadi mein itni busy thi (laughs), itni busy thi ki poocha nahi.”
