Former DOGE Staffer ‘Big Balls’ Attacked In DC, Sparking Calls For Federal Intervention From Trump And Musk

The attack on Edward Coristine, a former DOGE worker known as “Big Balls,” in Washington, D.C., earlier this week has gotten a lot of attention from important people, like President Donald Trump and Elon Musk, who both want the city to become part of the federal government. Fox News and the Washington Post have also confirmed the victim’s identity, even though Trump and Musk didn’t name him at first.

FOX 5 DC says that the attack happened at the corner of Swann Street and 14th Street in Northwest D.C.

Elon Musk, who used to be the head of DOGE and an advisor to Trump, was the first person to give a full explanation of what happened. In a post on X (previously Twitter), the billionaire said that Coristine was badly assaulted and got a concussion while trying to protect a woman from a group of about a dozen males who were trying to attack her in her car. Musk wrote, “A member of the @Doge team saw what was happening, ran to help her, and was badly beaten to the point of concussion, but he saved her.” It’s time to make DC a state.

President Donald Trump also spoke out on the event on his Truth Social platform, where he expressed his anger. He said that local teens and gang members are “randomly attacking, mugging, maiming, and shooting innocent citizens, at the same time knowing that they will be almost immediately released.”

Trump wants the laws in D.C. to be changed so that teens 14 and older can be tried as adults. He also said that the federal government would step in if things didn’t get better. “I will use my powers to make this city federal if this keeps up.” “Make America Great Again!” he wrote.

The president went on to say, “Washington, D.C., must be safe, clean, and beautiful for all Americans and, most importantly, for the world to see.” We will have to take over the city and operate it the way it should be handled if D.C. doesn’t get its act together immediately. This will let criminals know that they won’t get away with it anymore.

The incident has brought back an argument over crime rates in the capital and how much the federal government should be involved.
