The event also welcomed international devotees, who blended seamlessly into the festival’s devotional atmosphere. Groups of foreign pilgrims participated in singing bhajans such as ‘Om Jai Jagdish Hare’ and ‘Mahishasura Mardini Stotram’, adding to the collective spiritual energy of the Maha Kumbh.

A devotee from Milan, Italy, expressed her deep connection to India:

A participant from Nepal shared her excitement at experiencing her first Amrit Snan, while Thomas from Germany remarked:
“I think it (Maha Kumbh) is very well-organised. It’s very big, and people are so friendly. I wanted to feel the spiritual energy and to meet Indian people.”

Procession by Akharas

Acharya Mahamandaleshwar Swami Avdheshanand of Juna Akhara explained:
“Among the akhadas, the seven Shaivite akhadas will come out first, followed by the three Vaishnavite akhadas.”
