A gang connected to famous gangsters Rohit Godara and Goldy Brar alleged they were responsible for the shooting outside the home of Bollywood star Disha Patani’s father in Bareilly. The cops are helping her family more because of this. A gang member wrote on social media that the shooting that happened early on Friday was a “trailer” and a message to the whole world of movies.

Virendra Charan, a gang member, wrote on Facebook that the event happened because spiritual gurus Premanand Maharaj and Aniruddhacharya Maharaj were “disrespected.” The post was for Disha’s sister, Khushboo Patani, who had spoken out against what a spiritual leader had said about women and living together. The note went on to say, “We won’t let her or anyone else disrespect our religion again.”
The Uttar Pradesh Police got engaged right away after the event, which was believed to be outside Disha’s father’s residence, Jagdish Patani. Anurag Arya, the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) in Bareilly, claimed that five special teams have been formed to examine into the matter. Forensic experts also recovered a lot of empty cartridges at the scene, which means that more than one round was fired.
Jagdish Patani, a former police officer, has submitted an official complaint. The police have sent armed officers to stand guard outside the family’s home to keep them safe. The Patani family hasn’t said anything official yet, but this event highlights how risky it is for criminals to use social media to threaten famous people because of their political or religious beliefs. While the investigation goes on, the authorities are investigating into whether the social media posts are legitimate.
