Fire Breaks Out In Assam’s Hojai District, Damaging Railway Quarters And Shops

Hojai (Assam), February 12: A fire broke out in the Lumding area of Assam’s Hojai district on Wednesday morning, causing significant damage to several old railway quarters and shops. The incident took place in the Nadirpar Last Colony area under Lumding town.

According to local resident Dibakar Nath, the fire caused extensive damage to four old railway quarters and four shops in the area. However, there have been no reports of casualties from the incident, as confirmed by local police.

Fire Breaks Out in Indore, Madhya Pradesh

In a separate incident, a massive fire broke out at two private companies in the Progressive Park industrial area in Indore district, Madhya Pradesh. The fire occurred around 8 am in the Tigaria Badshah locality.

Fire tenders rushed to the spot immediately after receiving the information, and the rescue operation was launched. After hours of strenuous effort, the fire was successfully brought under control. Fortunately, no casualties were reported in this incident as well.

Local authorities are investigating the causes behind both fires.
