Filmmaker Ravi Bhagchandka Shares Update on Yuvraj Singh Biopic with New Picture

Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], April 6: The much-anticipated biopic on former cricketer Yuvraj Singh is gaining momentum as filmmaker Ravi Bhagchandka recently shared a fresh update. He posted a picture with Yuvraj Singh on his Instagram Story, giving fans a glimpse of their recent meeting.

The picture shows the two posing together, with Bhagchandka adding the caption, “What’s the score?” hinting at the progress being made on the film.

Ravi Bhagchandka, in collaboration with Bhushan Kumar, is working to bring Yuvraj Singh’s inspiring life story to the big screen. The biopic will focus on the journey of the cricketing icon, who has left an indelible mark on the sport.

Yuvraj Singh’s remarkable career began at the age of 13 when he debuted for the Punjab Under-16 cricket team. He went on to represent India in 402 international matches from 2000 to 2017, accumulating 11,178 runs at an average of 35.05, including 17 centuries and 71 fifties. He was a key player in India’s victories in the ICC Champions Trophy 2002 (joint winners with Sri Lanka), ICC T20 World Cup 2007, and the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011.

Yuvraj also made history by becoming the first Indian to hit six consecutive sixes in an over during the 2007 T20 World Cup against England. His career peaked during the 2011 World Cup when he was named ‘Player of the Tournament’ after scoring 362 runs, including a century and four half-centuries, and picking up 15 wickets. In the same year, he was diagnosed with cancer, making his achievements even more remarkable. The film will be a tribute to his incredible journey both on and off the field.
