MUMBAI: In a move that blends entertainment with empowerment, filmmaker and choreographer Farah Khan has launched her new digital talent show, Aunty Kisko Bola, on her official YouTube channel. The quirky show is a unique platform dedicated to celebrating the hidden talents of women, proving that “hunar ki koi age nahi hoti” (talent has no age).
Farah announced the show’s premiere on Instagram, sharing a teaser video that introduces the first guest judges: her brother, filmmaker Sajid Khan, and Sunita Ahuja, the wife of actor Govinda. The show, which promises to feature a rotating panel of celebrity judges each week, aims to spotlight extraordinary women who often don’t get the limelight.
Positive Industry and Fan Reactions
The show’s concept has already received a wave of positive reactions from the film and TV fraternity. Actors Mona Singh and Maniesh Paul were among the first to applaud the idea, with Paul writing, “Looooveeeee this farrruuuu… big congrats!” Fans have also expressed their excitement, with one user on Instagram calling the show a “smasher” and many more eagerly awaiting its release.
Farah Khan has successfully transitioned into the digital space, following the popularity of her cooking show, which featured her cook, Dilip, and many celebrity guests. With Aunty Kisko Bola, she is continuing her successful foray into creating engaging digital content that resonates with a broad audience.
