In her recent popular cooking vlog, Bollywood filmmaker and choreographer Farah Khan made a striking statement about Indian singer Sunidhi Chauhan, whom she named the “best singer in the entire world,” ranking her above global superstars like Taylor Swift, Beyoncé, Rihanna, and Mariah Carey.
Farah made the high praise while visiting Sunidhi’s home (in the same building where Farah resides on the 35th floor and Sunidhi on the 10th) for her latest vlog alongside her cook, Dilip.
Sunidhi Chauhan is “Better Than the Best”
Introducing her guest, Farah Khan didn’t hold back her admiration for the Bollywood playback singer:
“Guys, we have here the one and only, amazing singer, my most favourite ever in the world, better than Mariah Carey, Rita Ora, Beyoncé, Rihanna, and Taylor Swift.”
She continued, stating unequivocally, “You name it, and she is better than the best. She is the best singer in the entire world, Sunidhi.”
Farah’s connection with Sunidhi goes back decades. She recalled knowing the singer since she was just seven or eight years old. Farah vividly remembered their early days performing together at shows featuring Bollywood legends like Amitabh Bachchan and Sridevi. Even at that young age, Sunidhi would “steal all the limelight,” with her singing skills bringing the stadium down.

Sunidhi Chauhan began her career at a very young age, making her Bollywood debut at just 13 in the 1996 film Shastra. She achieved her first major hit with “Ruki Ruki Si Zindagi” from the film Mast in 1999.
Over the years, Sunidhi has established herself as one of India’s most versatile vocalists, delivering countless chartbusters across genres, including energetic dance numbers (Sheila Ki Jawani, Desi Girl) and soulful ballads (Mere Haath Mein, Bhage Re Mann).
