Bollywood actor Faissal Khan, brother of superstar Aamir Khan, recently held a press conference where he shared details about the origin of his feud with his family. He claimed that the conflict began after he got divorced and his family pressured him to marry his mother’s first cousin, a proposal he refused.
According to Faissal, he married a woman in August 2002 but divorced her just a few months later in December. Following the divorce, he stated that his family, particularly his mother, became angry with him for refusing to marry his aunt. Faissal explained that he was focused on his career and not interested in getting married, which led to frequent arguments. To avoid the fights, he began living separately.
He also disclosed that he wrote a letter detailing personal stories about his family members, which further angered them. He alleged that this letter led to his family turning against him and attempting to have him declared “mad.”
Aamir Khan Feud and Family Statement
In a previous interview with Pinkvilla, Faissal had claimed that his brother Aamir and his family had locked him in a house for over a year and spread rumors that he had schizophrenia. Following these allegations, Aamir Khan and his family released a joint statement denying the claims as “hurtful and misleading.” The statement was signed by numerous family members, including Aamir’s ex-wife Reena Datta and his children Junaid and Ira Khan.
After the public dispute, Faissal announced on Instagram that he had officially severed all ties with his family. He stated that the decision, while difficult, was necessary for his “healing and growth” and to begin a new chapter of “freedom, dignity, and self-discovery.”
Faissal Khan’s Career
Faissal Khan made his debut in the 1969 film Pyar Ka Mausam. He went on to appear in several films, including Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak, Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar, and Mela. He was last seen in the 2022 Kannada crime thriller Oppanda.
