Patna: Just two days before the Bihar Assembly Election 2025 results, Today’s Chanakya released its exit poll on Wednesday evening, predicting a comfortable victory for the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), led by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Janata Dal (United).
The results of the Bihar elections will be declared on Friday, November 14, when counting begins across all constituencies. The Chanakya exit poll came shortly after the Axis My India survey, both of which gave an edge to the ruling NDA.
Today’s Chanakya Exit Poll 2025 Results
- NDA: 160 ± 12 seats
- Mahagathbandhan: 77 ± 12 seats
- Others: 6 ± 3 seats
According to Today’s Chanakya, the NDA could win anywhere between 148 and 172 seats in the 243-member Bihar Assembly, comfortably crossing the majority mark of 122.
In contrast, the RJD-led Mahagathbandhan, which includes the Congress and Left parties, is projected to win between 65 and 89 seats.
The “Others” category, including smaller regional outfits and independents, may secure 3 to 9 seats.
Axis My India Exit Poll 2025: A Closer Contest
Earlier, Axis My India predicted a tighter race, giving the NDA between 121–141 seats, and the Mahagathbandhan 98–118 seats.
Both pollsters, however, agreed on one outcome — Prashant Kishor’s Jan Suraaj Party is unlikely to make any significant impact, with both predicting zero seats for the new political outfit.
Overall Exit Poll Trends
Most major exit polls released on Tuesday and Wednesday have pointed towards an NDA advantage, with projections ranging between 130 and 209 seats for the ruling alliance.
If these predictions hold, it would mark another significant victory for the BJP-JD(U) coalition led by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, reaffirming their hold over Bihar politics.
The Mahagathbandhan, led by Tejashwi Yadav’s Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), is staring at a possible setback despite a high-voltage campaign focused on employment, price rise, and governance.
