Exciting Theatrical And OTT Releases To Look Out For This February

Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], February 1: From Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna’s historical drama Chhaava to Yami Gautam’s Dhoom Dhaam and Arjun Kapoor’s Mere Husband Ki Biwi, movie buffs are in for a treat this month with several exciting releases across theatres and OTT platforms.

‘Loveyapa’


Junaid Khan, son of Aamir Khan, and Khushi Kapoor, daughter of the late star Sridevi, are starring in the light-hearted drama Loveyapa. The film, directed by Advait Chandan, tells the story of a young couple who swap mobile phones, leading to a series of revelations. The trailer, which showcases a mix of comedy, drama, and love, promises an engaging watch. Loveyapa is set to release on February 7.

‘Chhaava’


In the epic saga Chhaava, Vicky Kaushal portrays Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj in a stirring tale about the courageous warrior’s legacy. The film, directed by Laxman Utekar and produced by Maddock Films, also stars Rashmika Mandanna and Akshaye Khanna. Chhaava is set to hit theatres on February 14.

‘Dhoom Dhaam’


Starring Yami Gautam and Pratik Gandhi, Dhoom Dhaam promises to take viewers on an unpredictable ride. The film revolves around newlyweds Koyal and Veer, whose seemingly perfect evening spirals into chaos with surprising twists. Directed by Rishab Seth, Dhoom Dhaam will be available on Netflix on February 14, 2025.

‘Sanki’


After his debut in Tadap, actor Ahan Shetty teams up with Pooja Hegde for Sanki, produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. The film, directed by Adnan A. Shaikh and Yasir Jah, is slated for release on February 14, 2025. The film promises an exciting addition to the Valentine’s Day lineup.

‘Mere Husband Ki Biwi’


Directed by Mudassar Aziz, Mere Husband Ki Biwi features Arjun Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar, and Rakul Preet Singh in a comedy of errors. The film follows Ankur (played by Arjun Kapoor) as his life unravels after discovering that his ex-wife Prabhleen has amnesia and can’t remember the past 5-6 years. The film will be released in theatres on February 21.

‘The Mehta Boys’


Boman Irani makes his directorial debut with The Mehta Boys, a drama about the strained relationship between a father and son forced to spend 48 hours together. The film stars Avinash Tiwary, Shreya Chaudhry, and Puja Sarup. The Mehta Boys will be available on Prime Video from February 7, 2025, in Hindi, with dubs in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada.

‘Mrs’


The drama film Mrs, directed by Aarti Kadave, stars Sanya Malhotra as an Indian housewife who struggles to balance societal expectations and her own aspirations. The Hindi remake of the critically acclaimed Malayalam film The Great Indian Kitchen, Mrs will be available on Zee5 from February 7.
