August 8, 2025: A month after a viral “kiss cam” video at a Coldplay performance led Andy Byron to resign as CEO of Astronomer, he is now at the center of a new crisis involving accusations of cheating and spending too much money on the adult content site OnlyFans. Byron is thought to have spent more than $250,000 (approximately ₹2.2 crore) on memberships, secret content, and video calls with different models.
The new claims, which were made public through private messages that his wife, Megan Kerrigan, is believed to have leaked, talk about how Byron talked to a 23-year-old OnlyFans model named Sophie Rain. The Blast reports that Byron paid Rain $40,000 to talk to her on camera and created a fake Instagram account to do it. In one leaked message, Byron is believed to have replied, “All good.” “Most guys I talk to are married,” Rain remarked. She sent a winking emoji and said, “Okay, call me in five minutes.”
Camilla Araujo, another model who is 29 years old, indicated that Byron’s spending wasn’t just on one person. “That’s a lot of money—$250,000 for video calls, custom content, and subscription fees!” Araujo said to The Blast, “Not just with Sophie, but with a lot of girls.” Both models have publicly backed Byron’s wife. Araujo said, “Women need to stand together when someone tries to humiliate and betray them like this, especially in such a public way.”
This fresh issue arises after Byron was seen cuddling Kristin Cabot, the head of HR at his company, during a Coldplay concert. This caused a media frenzy and made him leave the data analytics company Astronomer.
