Prayagraj (Uttar Pradesh) [India], February 7: Bollywood actress Esha Gupta visited the ongoing Mahakumbh Mela on February 6, 2025, where she took a holy dip at the sacred Triveni Sangam, the confluence of the Ganges, Yamuna, and Saraswati.
The actress, known for her role in Jannat 2, shared her spiritual experience with her followers on Instagram, posting captivating pictures from her visit. One of the photos featured Esha alongside Nandi Gupta, the Minister for Export Promotion of Uttar Pradesh, and motivational speaker Indresh Upadhyay. In her post, she expressed her gratitude with the caption, “Divy Kumbh, Bhavy Kumbh #mahakumbh2025” (Divine Kumbh, Grand Kumbh).
The Mahakumbh Mela, a grand annual event that attracts millions of pilgrims, has also become a global attraction this year, with several prominent personalities joining the crowds. Among the celebrities present at the Mela was Chris Martin, the lead singer of the world-famous band Coldplay. Martin, who was in India for a concert, participated in the sacred ritual of the Kumbh.
In addition to celebrities, several public figures have visited the Kumbh, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, among others. CM Saini, along with his family, also took part in the holy dip at the Triveni Sangam. Reflecting on the experience, Saini shared his joy on social media, saying, “Today I got the great fortune of taking a bath with my family in the holy confluence of Maa Ganga, Yamuna and Saraswati at Prayagraj Mahakumbh.”
The Maha Kumbh Mela, which began on Paush Purnima (January 13, 2025), continues to draw spiritual seekers and tourists from around the world and will conclude on Mahashivratri, February 26, 2025.
