Erika Kirk Gives First Emotional Remarks Since Husband’s Assassination

SCOTTSDALE, ARIZONA – Erika Kirk, the widow of conservative activist Charlie Kirk, spoke in public for the first time since his murder in Utah. She gave an emotional and heartbreaking homage to her husband. She thought of him as a guy who “loved life” and his nation, but most of all, “loved his children, and he loved me with all of his heart.”

Erika remarked that Charlie was the “perfect father and husband” and that his personal goal was to “revive the American family.” Then she took a time to thank President Donald Trump and his family, as well as Vice President JD Vance and his wife, Usha, for all the love and support they had given her. “Mr. President, my husband loved you, and he knew you loved him too. Your friendship is amazing,” she remarked.

Erika talked about her husband’s religion and how he was now with “his Savior and his God.” She said he would be wearing the “glorious crown of a martyr” because of how brutally he was killed.

Tyler Robinson, a 22-year-old guy from Utah, was arrested just hours before she spoke. He is accused of killing Charlie Kirk. Authorities think the suspect acted alone and that his motive was his “hate” for Kirk’s political ideals and statements.

Charlie Kirk, a strong conservative and well-known supporter of Trump, was shot and killed on Wednesday while speaking to students at an event at Utah Valley University (UVU). He was recognized for having strong and sometimes controversial opinions on a wide range of issues, including racism, gun control, and abortion. He was in the middle of a debate and answering a question regarding transgender mass shooters when the massacre happened.
