Epstein Files: Kimbal Musk Addresses 140+ Mentions; Elon’s “Wild Party” Emails Surface

Following a massive release of nearly 3 million Department of Justice documents, Kimbal Musk—restaurateur and brother of Tesla CEO Elon Musk—has broken his silence regarding his extensive mentions in the Jeffrey Epstein files. The documents, made public in late January and early February 2026, contain over 140 references to Kimbal and several candid email exchanges involving Elon.

Kimbal took to X on February 10, 2026, to clarify his connection to the disgraced financier, labeling Epstein a “demon.”

Kimbal’s Clarification: The “Newsletter” Explanation

Kimbal Musk addressed the high volume of email correspondence, attributing it primarily to a regular mass-mailing list.

  • The Newsletter: Kimbal claimed Epstein was simply one of thousands of subscribers to his newsletter. “The reason he has so many emails from me is because he was subscribed to a newsletter I sent out… every few weeks,” he wrote.
  • The Meeting: Kimbal admitted to meeting Epstein only once in his New York office during the day and denied ever visiting his private island, Little St. James.
  • The 2012 Relationship: Addressing claims that Epstein “arranged” women for him, Kimbal stated he dated a 30-year-old woman in 2012 whom he met through a separate friend. However, the DOJ files include an email from Kimbal thanking Epstein and his associates for “connecting” him to a woman that same year.

Elon Musk: “Wildest Party” and Zuckerberg Dinner

The file dump also reignited scrutiny around Elon Musk, contradicting his previous claims of having “refused” all invitations from Epstein.

  • The “Wild Party” Email: In a November 2012 exchange, Elon reportedly asked Epstein, “What day/night will be the wildest party on your island?” noting he would likely bring his then-wife, Talulah Riley.
  • The 2015 Photo: A surfaced photograph from the files shows Elon Musk and Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg at a dinner event. Epstein had emailed the photo to himself in 2015, fueling rumors of deeper ties between Silicon Valley elites and the financier.
  • Elon’s Counter: Elon has dismissed the releases as a “distraction” and “misinterpreted,” doubling down on his stance that he never visited the island and only had brief, work-related interactions with Epstein.
