A fresh encounter has broken out between security forces and terrorists in the Billawar area of Kathua district, Jammu and Kashmir. The operation was launched after Pakistan-based Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) terrorists opened fire on a patrolling team during a cordon and search operation, officials said.
Security personnel have cordoned off the area, and operations are ongoing to neutralize the threat and ensure civilian safety.
