In a frightening event, Elvish Yadav, a YouTuber and winner of a reality program, was shot at in his Gurugram home early on Sunday. Police say that three masked men shot more than two dozen shots outside his house in Sector 57.
Elvish wasn’t home when it happened, but his family and a caretaker were there. Thank goodness no one got hurt. The house, on the other hand, took the worst of the attack, with bullet holes visible in the doors, windows, and walls of the first and second stories.
The most important thing that happened was that a few hours after the shooting, a post on social media, supposedly from the infamous Himanshu Bhau gang, took responsibility for the attack. The statement said that Elvish had “ruined many homes” by pushing illegal betting apps and gave a strong warning to other social media influencers who did the same thing.
The Gurugram Police have acknowledged the event and said that a FIR has been filed and a full investigation is going on. “More than a dozen shots were fired.” Sandeep Kumar, a spokesperson for the Gurugram Police, said that Elvish Yadav was not home when the shooting happened.
Ram Avtar Yadav, Elvish Yadav’s father, told reporters that the family is “scared” but trusts the police completely. “While we were sleeping, the attackers approached on a motorcycle. They shot about 25 to 30 times and then ran away. “We hadn’t gotten any threats before,” he stated.
Elvish Yadav told his fans on Instagram that he was safe. “I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for your kind words. My family and I are safe and healthy. Thank you so much for your kind thoughts and care. He wrote, “Thank you.”

The YouTuber has been in a lot of legal trouble lately, including being involved in a snake venom lawsuit and being accused of assaulting another content creator. The police are still looking for the culprits and are checking to see if the gang’s claim is true.
