Siwan (Bihar) [India]: An earthquake measuring 4.0 on the Richter scale struck Bihar’s Siwan on Monday morning at a depth of 10 km, according to the National Center for Seismology (NCS).
The tremors were recorded at 8:02 AM, causing mild shaking in the region.

Earlier Tremors in Delhi-NCR
Earlier the same morning, another earthquake of 4.0 magnitude hit Delhi-NCR at a depth of 5 km. The tremors were strongly felt at 5:36 AM, causing panic among residents, many of whom rushed out of their homes.
Following the tremors in Delhi and surrounding areas, Prime Minister Narendra Modi urged citizens to remain calm and adhere to safety measures.
Tremors were felt in Delhi and nearby areas. Urging everyone to stay calm and follow safety precautions, staying alert for possible aftershocks. Authorities are keeping a close watch on the situation.
