“Mumbai Is A Fast-Paced City”: Dutch Woman’s Comparison Of Mumbai And Bengaluru Goes Viral

Ivana, a Dutch woman living in India, has sparked a passionate online conversation by revealing her honest thoughts on how different the atmospheres are in Mumbai and Bengaluru. She had lived in Bengaluru, which is more laid-back, for six years and then in Mumbai, which is more busy, for the last two years. This gave her a unique view on her Instagram.

Ivana said in a recent video that the way people live in Mumbai is “brutal” and fast-paced, even for her “Dutch sense of speed.” She said, “I feel like people are rushing and stressed a lot more here than in Bengaluru.” She made it clear that she wasn’t talking about traffic but rather the general “vibe” of the two cities.

She said that Bengaluru, on the other hand, had a calmer, more laid-back energy. She said, “I think life moves more slowly in Bengaluru.” “Even when I just walk around Indira Nagar, which is one of the busiest neighborhoods in Bengaluru, it feels slow.”

Ivana’s comparison instantly went viral, and a lot of people on social media agreed with her. People who have lived in both places wrote in to back up her point of view. One person said, “Mumbai has less money and more problems.” More money and less trouble in Bengaluru. Another person who has lived in both cities remarked, “I agree that life in Mumbai is too fast-paced and busy.” A third person said, “People in Bombay are always in a hurry, but they are always late.”

The post talks about something that many people who live in or visit Bengaluru agree on: even if Bengaluru has its own traffic and city problems, it has a more relaxed and balanced rhythm than Mumbai, which is always busy and full of ambition.
