Four Indian Super League (ISL) clubs have made it through the tough group stage of the Durand Cup 2025, and the quarter-final matches have been set. The official ISL website says that East Bengal FC and Mohun Bagan Super Giant have been the best teams. They both finished at the top of their groups with flawless records.
Shillong Lajong FC will host Indian Navy FT on Saturday to kick off the quarter-finals. After that, Bodoland FC will play NorthEast United FC at Kokrajhar.
On Sunday, Jamshedpur FC, the top team in Group C, will play Diamond Harbour FC. The Kolkata Derby, which everyone is looking forward to, will be the main event of the round. Mohun Bagan Super Giant (MBSG) and East Bengal FC will face off for a berth in the semifinals. Both teams are undefeated going into the game and have a long history in the competition. MBSG has won the most Durand Cups, with 17. East Bengal FC is close behind with 16.
