Travis Kelce’s mother, Donna Kelce, is keeping herself busy with preparations for her son’s much-anticipated wedding to global superstar Taylor Swift. But beyond the wedding plans, Donna has already started dropping hints about wanting more grandchildren.
In the latest episode of the New Heights podcast, hosted by Travis and his elder brother Jason Kelce, it was revealed that Donna is urging the Kansas City Chiefs tight end to start a family with Swift soon after the wedding.
During their chat with coach Deion Sanders, Jason joked about how parents often rank their children. Sanders replied, “Ya’ll parents rank ya’ll. Ya’ll just don’t know.” Jason admitted, “For sure. Mom’s always had Travis number one. I do know.”
Interrupting, Travis quipped: “Listen, right now, Mom has Jason no. 1 because he has kids.”
Jason, who shares daughters Wyatt (5), Elliotte (4), Bennett (2), and infant son Finn (5 months) with wife Kylie Kelce, agreed: “That is true. She has said that. She has made that comment.”
He then added, “She’s put some pressure on him,” pointing toward Travis. Sanders, laughing, teased Travis with, “What you waiting on, Dad? So what you waiting on?”
Donna’s Wedding Preparations
Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift, who got engaged in August this year, are preparing for what is expected to be one of the most high-profile weddings in recent years. According to People magazine, Donna is already collecting keepsakes.
“Donna is already saving little things from this time like photos, notes and flowers,” an insider revealed, adding that she is “very sentimental” about the couple’s relationship.
“She wants to remember every detail, so she has been holding onto mementos from their first days as an engaged couple,” the source said.
