    Trump announced immediate actions to address illegal immigration, declaring a “national emergency” at the southern border.

    “First, I will declare a national emergency at the southern border. All illegal entry will immediately be halted, and we will begin the process of returning millions and millions of criminal aliens back to the place from which they came,” Trump said.

    “Fires have tragically burned through houses and communities without even a token of defense. This can’t be allowed to happen,” he said.
