Donald Trump At UNGA: “I Ended Seven Unendable Wars Including India And Pakistan”

New York: At the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), US President Donald Trump repeated his disputed claim that he had ended several wars across the world.

“I ended seven wars that could never be won,” Trump remarked.

However, the comment has caused a lot of dispute because India and Pakistan have not officially declared war on each other during his time in office. Analysts think that Trump was probably talking about his administration’s diplomatic efforts to ease tensions between the two nuclear-armed neighbors, especially after the Pulwama-Balakot war in 2019 and the end of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir.

Trump has made similar broad assertions about his foreign policy successes before. Some people agree that his administration tried to mediate, but experts are still not sure about his claim to “end wars,” especially in areas where tensions are still high.
