Washington DC [US], July 18: Disney+ has launched “HOMERPALOOZA!”, a special 24/7 streaming event featuring 200 of the most iconic Homer Simpson episodes, Variety reported. The new stream celebrates the beloved patriarch of The Simpsons with more than 80 hours of curated content, available now for a limited time.
These episodes will stream continuously via Disney+’s ‘Simpsons’ always-on channel, highlighting memorable moments from the show’s 35-season history.
“In the history of television, is there a funnier 80 hours than the top 200 Homer episodes of ‘The Simpsons?’ No,” said Matt Selman, executive producer and showrunner of The Simpsons, as quoted by Variety.
The “HOMERPALOOZA!” stream joins other offerings on the dedicated Simpsons hub on Disney+, which includes The Simpsons Movie and over 10 original shorts featuring the famous yellow family from Springfield.
The 24/7 Simpsons channel, launched earlier this year, provides fans with nonstop access to all episodes in chronological order. This move is part of Disney+’s expanding ‘Streams’ initiative, offering themed, passive-viewing channels to mimic traditional linear TV experiences.
Other exclusive stream channels available to Premium subscribers include:
- Throwbacks – Classic animated series
- Descendants and Zombies – Content from the teen musical franchises
- SharkFest – Thrilling shark-themed programming
Additionally, all subscribers can access channels like ABC News and Disney+ Playtime, geared toward younger audiences.
The Simpsons, one of television’s most enduring and iconic animated series, satirizes American life through the lives of Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa, and Maggie in the fictional town of Springfield.
