When filmmaker Sukumar officially revealed the third movie in the hit Pushpa series, which would be called Pushpa 3: The Rampage, fans were quite excited. At the SIIMA awards in Dubai on Saturday, the team behind Pushpa 2: The Rule received five major accolades. Allu Arjun won Best Actor and Sukumar won Best Director.
After a hilarious back-and-forth with the hosts on stage, the director confirmed it when they asked if there will be a third part. Sukumar stated, “Obviously, we’re making Pushpa 3,” when main actor Allu Arjun and producer Naveen Yerneni gave him a nod. The audience cheered.
The schedule for making things and future projects
Fans are going nuts at the news, but a specific production timetable has been determined. Ravi Shankar, the producer of Mythri Movie Makers, has indicated before that Pushpa 3: The Rampage will come out in 2028. It is expected that filming will commence in 2027 and production will start in 2026.
This schedule fits with what the celebrity and director are doing right now. Allu Arjun is now making a sci-fi movie that will be shown all throughout India with director Atlee. The project should be done before he goes back to the Pushpa series. Sukumar, the filmmaker, has to finish a different project with actor Ram Charan before he can start working on the third movie. Fans can’t wait to find out more about the plot, which picks up where Pushpa 2 left off.
