Director Priyadarshan, who is in charge of the much-anticipated Hera Pheri 3, has finally spoken out about the rumors that main actors Paresh Rawal and Akshay Kumar had a falling out. The director made it clear in a recent interview that the two stars never had a personal problem and that “bad forces” from outside the team were to blame for the withdrawal.
Priyadarshan told a news outlet that he and Akshay Kumar never had any problems with Paresh Rawal. “There are some other forces, bad forces, who were pressuring Paresh,” he stated, implying that outside powers were involved in the incident. The director’s statement clears up the behind-the-scenes controversy that put the project on hold for a short time and caused rumors of a cast change.

The director said that even though there was a lot of strain, the connections between the three original actors—Akshay Kumar as Raju, Suniel Shetty as Shyam, and Paresh Rawal as Baburao—stayed the same. He also talked about how calm Akshay Kumar was about the scenario, quoting the actor as stating, “Prince sir, if it happens, let it happen.” If not, let’s go on.
Fans are relieved to hear the news because they were worried about the project’s future after hearing earlier this year that Paresh Rawal had left because of creative issues and a subpar screenplay. The movie is back on track, and the iconic three is getting back together to carry on the legacy of the cult comedy series.
