New York [US], May 05: Actor-singer Diljit Dosanjh is all set to attend the 2025 Met Gala and, like many attendees before a major fashion event, he’s facing the age-old question: what to wear?
Diljit took to Instagram to express his excitement and indecision with a humorous video showing the goodies he received from the Met Gala organisers. Captioning the post in Punjabi, he wrote, “MET GALA Tomorrow Daso Fer Ki Paiye Kal Nu Halaa Laa Laa Karauni An #metgala,” which loosely translates to, “The Met Gala is tomorrow, tell me what to wear. I’ll make a scene!”
Fans were quick to chime in with enthusiasm and outfit suggestions. One user wrote, “MET GALAAA PUNJABI AAGAYEEE OYEEEE,” while another recommended a traditional “kurta chaadra” ensemble.
Meanwhile, actor Sidharth Malhotra has landed in New York to support his wife Kiara Advani, who is making her Met Gala debut this year. Sidharth shared glimpses of his NYC day via Instagram Stories, including a scenic skyline view and moments from his gym session.
The 2025 Met Gala will be held on May 5 at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City, with the theme “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style,” celebrating the cultural and fashion contributions of the Black community.
The exhibit, also titled Superfine, will delve into how Black style has influenced contemporary fashion.
Confirmed Indian attendees include Shah Rukh Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Kiara Advani, and Diljit Dosanjh, building major anticipation for Bollywood’s presence on the international red carpet.
This year’s event is co-chaired by Pharrell Williams, Colman Domingo, A$AP Rocky, and Lewis Hamilton.
