Excitement for the upcoming action thriller Dhurandhar escalated today with the release of the menacing first look of actor Arjun Rampal. Superstar Ranveer Singh, who leads the film, took to his Instagram to share the new poster and hype Rampal’s powerful character.
In the first look, Arjun Rampal is seen with a sharp, short haircut and a long, full beard. Sporting black glasses and an intense, angry expression while smoking a cigar, the actor embodies a dangerous antagonist.
The ‘Angel of Death’
Ranveer Singh’s caption strongly hinted at the sinister nature of Rampal’s role in the film, written and directed by Aditya Dhar (Uri: The Surgical Strike).

The poster reveal also brought a major update for fans: the official trailer of Dhurandhar will be released on November 12, 2025.
Bravery of Indian Agents
Dhurandhar is based on true events and is heavily speculated to be a high-stakes spy thriller focusing on the bravery of India’s special agents in Pakistan. Ranveer Singh is rumored to be playing the role of an undercover spy.
The film boasts a powerful ensemble cast beyond Ranveer Singh and Arjun Rampal, including veteran actors Sanjay Dutt, Akshaye Khanna, and R. Madhavan in key roles.
The movie’s production hit a snag in August when over 100 crew members were hospitalized in Leh with severe food poisoning, leading to a temporary halt in the shoot. Thankfully, no fatalities were reported.
Dhurandhar is scheduled to hit theatres globally on December 5, 2025.
