CHENNAI: The second song from actor-director Dhanush’s next movie, Idli Kadai, has come out and people are already talking about it. The song “Enjaami Thandhaane” came out on Wednesday to coincide with the Ganesh Chaturthi celebration. It was a delight for both movie and music enthusiasts.
GV Prakash Kumar wrote the song, which is a boisterous rural folk tune with a very intense dance by Dhanush. The actor, who is wearing a basic white shirt and a mundu, fits in seamlessly with the hundreds of dancers in the village. People have complimented the song a lot for its great intensity and interesting imagery.
But the best part is at the very conclusion of the music video. Dhanush and the dancers do a fast-paced, well choreographed routine in a long, continuous one-shot sequence that has left fans in awe of his skill and variety.
Dhanush has done a lot of work on the movie. He directed it and also sang and wrote the lyrics for “Enjaami Thandhaane.” Arivu sings the rap parts of the song, and Sublahshini sings the other parts. Sathish was in charge of the dance moves.
