July 11, 2025: Tamil star Dhanush has officially kickstarted work on his next project, tentatively titled ‘D54’, with a grand pooja ceremony in Chennai on Friday. The film marks his collaboration with ‘Por Thozhil’ director Vignesh Raja, and is backed by Vels Film International.

- The pooja event was attended by Dhanush, director Vignesh Raja, producer Dr. Ishari K. Ganesh, and special guest Vetrimaaran, Dhanush’s longtime collaborator.
- Pictures show Dhanush posing with the film’s first-look poster and clapboard, which read “Pooja”.
- Music for D54 will be composed by GV Prakash Kumar, reuniting with Dhanush for another promising soundtrack.
