New Delhi: Dhanashree Verma, an actress and choreographer, got very upset on the reality show Rise and Fall when her co-contestant Aahana Kumra allegedly spoke bad things about her. Things became worse when Akriti Negi, another contestant, said that Aahana had made a comment on Dhanashree’s character, saying that she “clings to men” in the penthouse.
Dhanashree cried when she found out. She was hurt by what happened and decided to vote against Aahana during the elimination round since she no longer trusted her.
Dhanashree added, “I am actually coming from a place of disappointment” as she talked about her feelings. I felt horrible when I found out that Aahana said something about me while she was in the penthouse. That day, I sobbed a lot. Even so, Arbaz and I remained by Aahana while she was in trouble.
“I had made it very clear to her why some people don’t talk to her,” she said. I informed her that her words affected me badly, but now I don’t know what she is saying about me in the basement. I have felt horrible. I have never said anything bad about anyone on the show, but I have never brought my personal life into it. People say I’m being affected, but that’s not true; I don’t like this place. “I’ve seen life, and I know I can’t trust Aahana anymore.”
Dhanashree told other candidates when she got back to the penthouse, “I don’t feel safe talking to anyone right now.” People are going too far lately. As she broke down more, her co-participants were seen comforting her.
On the other hand, things grew tense when Akriti Negi got Arjun Bijlani’s wife involved in an altercation. The actor wanted Akriti to go, but the issue was finally settled. Pawan Singh left the show for employment reasons.

Dhanashree Verma’s personal life has been in the news a lot, especially her marriage to and divorce from Indian cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal. The couple met for the first time during the COVID-19 lockdown in 2020 when she was taking online dance courses. They got married later that year. Their union ended in a very public fight and divorce proceedings in 2025. After thereafter, Dhanashree mostly decided not to talk about the scandal.
Dhanashree has already talked about how she didn’t want her past to get in the way of her adventure on Rise and Fall. But the recent comments that have been linked to Aahana Kumra seem to have really upset her.
