Mumbai — The drama on the reality show Rise and Fall has reached a new peak after dancer and content creator Dhanashree Verma was seen breaking down over accusations made against her by fellow contestant, actor Aahana Kumra. The tense confrontation occurred during a segment where the bottom three “Workers” had to pitch to save themselves from elimination.
The conflict was exposed when content creator Akriti Negi revealed that Aahana had previously made disparaging remarks about Dhanashree, suggesting that she “clings to men” while in the “Penthouse” (the section of the house for the powerful “Rulers”).
Fighting back tears, Dhanashree expressed her profound disappointment. “I am actually coming from a space of disappointment. When Aahana was in the penthouse, I found out that she said something about me, and I felt bad about it. I cried a lot that day,” she stated.
Dhanashree, who has been openly discussing her recent divorce from cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal, claimed that despite Aahana’s hurtful comments, she and another contestant, Arbaz, stood by her when she was “cornered.” She also insisted that she has never brought up her personal life to garner sympathy on the show, despite Aahana’s previous accusations of “playing the victim card.”
“I have never said anything against anyone on the show, yet I never dragged my personal life on the show,” Dhanashree said. “I am told I am getting influenced, but that’s not true. I don’t like this environment. I have seen life, and I know I cannot trust Aahana anymore.”
The emotional toll of the incident was clear, with Dhanashree later adding, “I feel unsafe to talk to anybody now. People are crossing their limits now.”
The ongoing feud between the two contestants has become a major talking point for the show, highlighting the complex and often brutal power dynamics at play in the game.
