Destiny’s Child Reunites With Beyoncé For Electrifying Performance At “Cowboy Carter” Tour Finale In Las Vegas

Las Vegas, US – July 28, 2025 – In a moment that sent shockwaves through the music world, American girl group Destiny’s Child – comprising Beyoncé, Kelly Rowland, and Michelle Williams – reunited onstage during Beyoncé’s final “Cowboy Carter” concert in Las Vegas on Saturday, July 26, 2025. This marked their first joint performance in seven years, thrilling the massive crowd at the Allegiant Stadium.

The surprise reunion unfolded during the Renaissance segment of the show. After a brief disappearance from the stage, Beyoncé reappeared alongside Rowland and Williams, prompting a roaring ovation as the opening notes of their timeless hit “Independent Women” began to play. “Destiny’s Child..!” Bey shouted to an ecstatic audience.

The trio launched into a medley of their iconic hits, kicking off with “Lose My Breath,” a track from their 2004 album that they hadn’t performed together since Beyoncé’s historic Coachella headlining sets in 2018. They seamlessly transitioned into Bey’s 2022 Renaissance track “Energy,” before concluding their powerhouse performance with the 2001 anthem “Bootylicious.” This marked the first time the three-piece had performed “Bootylicious” live since their memorable appearance at Beyoncé’s Super Bowl Halftime Show in 2013.

Following the unforgettable show, Beyoncé shared a beaming picture on Instagram of herself flanked by Rowland and Williams, expressing her joy. Both Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams also posted images from the celebrated event on their respective Instagram feeds, extending the excitement to their global fan bases.

A Legacy of Influence and Chart-Topping Success

Destiny’s Child has cemented its legacy as one of the most successful and influential female groups in music history since their debut in 1997. Although the trio officially disbanded in 2006 to pursue solo careers, their bond has remained strong, leading to high-profile reunions. Beyond the 2013 Super Bowl and 2018 Coachella performances, the trio also had an offstage reunion in 2023, when former original members LaTavia Roberson and LeToya Luckett shared backstage images from Beyoncé’s Renaissance World Tour, hinting at the enduring sisterhood within the group.

Throughout their illustrious, chart-topping career, Destiny’s Child amassed an impressive record of 10 top 10 hits on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. This includes four No. 1 singles: “Say My Name” (three weeks), “Independent Women, Part I” (11 weeks), “Bills, Bills, Bills” (one week), and “Bootylicious” (two weeks). On the Billboard 200 albums chart, the group landed four top 10 albums, with ‘Survivor’ (two weeks) and ‘#1’s’ (one week) both reaching the coveted No. 1 spot.

A Star-Studded Finale

Beyoncé’s final “Cowboy Carter” tour stop was a star-studded affair, featuring other surprise appearances that delighted the audience. Shaboozey joined her for a medley of his hit “Sweet Honey Buckiin'” along with “Pure/Honey” and “Summer Renaissance.” Her husband, Jay-Z, also made an appearance, performing “N—–s in Paris” solo and then teaming up with Beyoncé for their iconic collaboration, “Crazy in Love.”

Near the end of Saturday’s show, Beyoncé delivered a powerful message to her fans: “Don’t ever ask permission for something that already belongs to you. God bless you, drive home safe, thank you for tonight! Thank you to everyone who worked so hard to make this a reality. I’m so deeply grateful.”

The A-list attendance at the concert included Kris Jenner, Khloe Kardashian, Tyler Perry, and Oprah Winfrey, underscoring the cultural significance of Beyoncé’s tour.

The “Cowboy Carter” tour, which has been part of Beyoncé’s groundbreaking three-act project (following the ‘Renaissance’ album and tour), concluded after a series of high-profile stops in major cities across the globe, including Los Angeles, Chicago, New York, London, Paris, Houston, Washington, D.C., Atlanta, and the grand finale in Las Vegas.
