Cold Wave in Delhi:
- Delhi is experiencing a cold wave, with temperatures dropping to 11.6°C at 5:30 am. The India Meteorological Department forecasts a minimum of 8°C and a maximum of 19°C with dense fog persisting throughout the day.
- The cold wave has led to an increase in people seeking refuge at night shelters to protect themselves from the biting winds. 235 pagoda tents have been set up by the Delhi Urban Shelter Improvement Board (DUSIB) to accommodate the homeless, with shelters established in locations like AIIMS, Lodhi Road, and Nizamuddin flyover.

- The dense fog continues to disrupt railway operations across North India. Approximately 25 trains, including well-known services such as Poorva Express, Vikramshila Express, and RJPB Tejas Express, are running behind their scheduled times.
