Washington [US], May 26: Singer-songwriter and actor Demi Lovato has officially tied the knot with her longtime partner Jordan ‘Jutes’ Lutes in a heartfelt ceremony held in California on Sunday.
For the special day, Lovato donned a stunning custom “pearl white” Vivienne Westwood gown, complete with a corset bodice and a cathedral-style tulle veil. “I have been a fan of Vivienne Westwood’s designs for a long time,” she shared with People, adding that the label’s silhouettes and corsetry perfectly matched her vision. “I love everything about the dress.”
Later in the evening, the bride changed into a second Westwood creation—an ivory silk satin column gown featuring a draped corset top and delicate broken pearls cascading from the neckline. “It’s a one-of-a-kind piece that makes me feel so special,” she said.
The couple celebrated with a rehearsal dinner the evening before the wedding, surrounded by loved ones.
Lovato and Jutes first met in January 2022 while co-writing her song Substance, and their connection quickly blossomed into a romance. They made their relationship public in August 2022, with Lovato later expressing deep affection for Jutes: “Everything I do, I wish I was with him. I see my future with him.”
In a heartfelt Instagram post on Valentine’s Day this year, Lovato wrote, “Jordan, I cannot WAIT to marry you!! The past 3 years have been the best of my life and I have you to thank for that. I’m obsessed with your heart, your love and your light.”
The couple got engaged in December 2023 and celebrated their one-year engagement milestone last December. Jutes reflected on the moment, calling Lovato his “favorite person” and saying he couldn’t wait to marry her.
Lovato echoed the sentiment, writing, “My sweet angel… I love you infinitely and cannot wait to call you my husband!”
