Delta Airlines Plane Crashes While Landing At Toronto Pearson Airport, Eight Injured

A Delta Airlines aircraft crash-landed at Toronto Pearson International Airport on Monday, flipping upside down on the snowy ground, according to a report by ABC News.

Peel Regional Police confirmed that eight individuals sustained injuries in the incident. One person was reported to be in critical condition, though their injuries were not life-threatening, while seven others suffered moderate to mild injuries.

The aircraft had arrived from Minneapolis, and all passengers and crew members were safely evacuated. The cause of the crash, including why the plane flipped over and caught fire, remains under investigation, according to sources speaking to ABC News.

Following the crash, Toronto Pearson International Airport acknowledged the incident and confirmed that emergency response teams were on-site.

In a statement shared on X, the airport wrote, “Toronto Pearson is aware of an incident upon landing involving a Delta Airlines plane arriving from Minneapolis. Emergency teams are responding. All passengers and crew are accounted for.”

Authorities are working to determine the exact circumstances that led to the crash.
