Washington [US]: Fans of The Boss are in for a treat as ‘Deliver Me From Nowhere’, a biopic starring Jeremy Allen White as legendary American musician Bruce Springsteen, is set for theatrical release on October 24, announced 20th Century Studios.
The film, directed by Scott Cooper, centers on the creation of Springsteen’s iconic 1982 album Nebraska—widely regarded as one of his most emotionally raw and artistically daring works.
Adapted from Warren Zanes’ 2023 book of the same name, the film brings together a compelling cast, with Jeremy Strong portraying Jon Landau, Springsteen’s longtime manager and record producer.
Other stars in the ensemble include:
- Stephen Graham
- Odessa Young
- Paul Walter Hauser
- Gaby Hoffmann
Springsteen and Landau are personally involved in the project, lending authenticity and creative depth to the storytelling.
Speaking about his experience, lead actor Jeremy Allen White said:
“Making this movie was a dream come true. I feel really lucky. We all had Bruce’s blessing on this film.”
The film’s music is curated by Dave Cobb, an acclaimed producer known for collaborations with Bruce Springsteen, Jason Isbell, and Brandi Carlile.
With its October 24 release, the film enters the conversation at the perfect time for awards season contention. Given the growing popularity of music biopics, such as ‘Bob Marley: One Love’ and the upcoming ‘A Complete Unknown’ starring Timothée Chalamet as Bob Dylan, Deliver Me From Nowhere is positioned to capture both critical and commercial attention.
