August 10, 2025: On Sunday morning, people in the national capital woke up to a nice cool day. The temperature dropped to 26.4 degrees Celsius, which is 7.8 degrees below the seasonal normal. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) says that thunderstorms with rain would happen all day, which is good news. The highest temperature is likely to stay moderate, about 29 degrees Celsius.
The city’s relative humidity was 95 percent around 8:30 am, which added to the damp environment.
Delhi’s air quality was also good, in addition to the nice weather. At 9 a.m., the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) said that the Air Quality Index (AQI) was 68, which put it firmly in the “satisfactory” range. The CPCB says that this means that the air quality is generally good for most people and poses no risk to their health.
