A police officer in the Mehrauli region of Delhi was hurt on Saturday morning, but they were able to catch a wanted criminal.
Around 4:00 AM, the Mehrauli Police tried to stop the suspect, who was known as Kanishk, also known as Kuku Pahadia, based on information about where he was going. Pahadia shot at the cops in an effort to avoid being caught.
Details of the meeting:
Police Injuries: During the exchange, head constable Ravindra was hurt. Also, two other police officers’ lives were saved when bullets hit their protective jackets.
Retaliation and Arrest: The Mehrauli Police team fired back in retaliation, overpowering and shooting the suspect.
Current Status: Koku Pahadia was taken to a hospital right away for treatment, and his condition is said to be stable.
Koku Pahadia lives in Madangir, Delhi, and has a criminal record. He is wanted in several instances, some of which involve supplying weapons. He has been charged with a crime under the right laws.
The police found two pistols, loaded magazines, and four empty cartridges in Pahadia’s hands. An investigation is already underway to find out where the guns that were found came from and who else was involved in the illegal arms trade.
