- Singh was arrested in connection with the conspiracy to fire at actor-comedian Kapil Sharma’s restaurant in Canada (Kap’s Cafe in Surrey, which was targeted in October).
- He is alleged to be the leading supplier of weapons and vehicles used by the shooters. Police say the vehicle used in the cafe shooting belonged to him.

- Recovery: A Chinese pistol and cartridges were recovered from him.
- Ongoing Investigation: Delhi Police are probing the gang’s international linkages, including arms supply routes, funding channels, and potential future targets.
Background of the Cafe Attack
- Kapil Sharma’s cafe was targeted in a shooting incident in October.
- Kulvir Sidhu, allegedly linked to the Lawrence Bishnoi network, had claimed responsibility on social media, warning that the firing was carried out by him and Goldy Dhillon against those who cheat them or “Bollywood individuals who speak against our religion.”
