Actor Ranveer Singh is currently riding high on the success of his latest spy thriller, Dhurandhar, and was spotted celebrating with his wife, Deepika Padukone, as the couple jetted off from the Mumbai Airport on Sunday.
The star couple made a stylish and joyful appearance, walking hand-in-hand as they headed to an undisclosed location. Their happiness was palpable, reflecting the excellent box office performance of Dhurandhar. As they posed for the paparazzi, Ranveer graciously acknowledged the compliments shouted by the paps, confirming the film’s “hit” status with a modest smile.
Fashion and a Familiar Tee
Ranveer kept his airport look edgy yet casual, sporting a black graphic-printed t-shirt that read ‘Ghatak,’ a piece of clothing he previously wore during the film’s promotions. He layered the look with a black leather jacket, grey cargo pants, dark sunglasses, and a black cap.
Deepika looked equally chic, pairing a white t-shirt with baggy blue denims, all layered under a long, olive green coat.
Dhurandhar‘s Box Office Run
The couple’s outing comes just days after the release of Dhurandhar, directed by Aditya Dhar. The film has received strong reviews and has proven to be a major box office success, crossing a significant milestone in its opening weekend.
The film’s domestic collections stand at an impressive ₹58 crore net in just two days, with an opening day collection of ₹27 crore net followed by a strong jump to ₹31 crore net on Saturday, according to Sacnilk data.
The spy thriller features Ranveer Singh as a Punjabi youth recruited from prison to infiltrate Karachi’s criminal underworld, alongside an ensemble cast including R. Madhavan, Sanjay Dutt, Akshaye Khanna, and Arjun Rampal.
