Having battled depression herself, she has inspired countless individuals to focus on their mental well-being, especially through her foundation, Live Love Laugh (LLL).
As LLL celebrates its 10th anniversary, Deepika took to Instagram to reflect on her journey. She shared a heartfelt message about the first step she took toward dedicating her life to destigmatizing mental illness. “10 years ago, on this day, I took my very first step towards committing the rest of my life towards destigmatizing mental illness and creating awareness about the importance of mental health. As I reflect on and celebrate the journey thus far, I look forward to the next chapter in my mission… #10YearsOfLLL #10YearsOfHope #10YearsOfImpact,” she wrote.
On the professional front, Deepika was recently seen alongside her husband, Ranveer Singh, in Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again, where she plays the fierce Shakti Shetty, aka Lady Singham. The film also features an impressive ensemble cast including Kareena Kapoor Khan, Arjun Kapoor, Ajay Devgn, Tiger Shroff, and Akshay Kumar.
Looking ahead, Deepika is set to star in the Hindi remake of the 2015 Hollywood film The Intern, where she will share the screen with the legendary Amitabh Bachchan. The two have previously worked together in films such as Kalki 2898 AD, Piku, and Aarakshan.
